Tap & Bloom provides digital memory creation and reveal experiences, including user-uploaded media such as photos, videos, and messages. Tap & Bloom is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and disclose your personal information when you visit, use, or make a purchase or other transaction using the Services or otherwise communicate with us. How long we retain your personal information depends on the type of information and the reason we collected it. Our current retention periods or criteria are as follows:

  • Unpublished drafts, including associated draft media, are generally retained for up to 1 day.
  • Delivered or published memories are generally retained for 183 days (approximately 6 months).
  • Where a product includes an activation period before publication, activation records are generally retained for up to 30 days before activation.
  • Delivery records are generally retained for up to 30 days.
  • Deleted-memory operational records may be retained for 90 days by default where needed for security, abuse prevention, dispute handling, or operational recovery.
  • Operational logs, including API access logs, are generally retained for up to 30 days.
  • Order, payment, tax, and related transaction records may be retained for longer where needed for accounting, legal, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes.
  • Support emails and related support records are generally retained for up to 12 months.

If a memory is purchased for immediate delivery, it is generally available for approximately 6 months from purchase. If a memory is purchased through an activate-later flow, there is generally a 30-day activation window and, once activated, the memory is generally available for approximately 6 months from publication.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights including access, deletion, correction, portability, restriction, objection, and withdrawal of consent. You may exercise these rights by contacting us.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Complaints

If you have complaints about how we process your personal information, please contact us. If you are in the United Kingdom, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). If you are located elsewhere, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

You are responsible for the content you upload and share through the Services. Tap & Bloom does not actively monitor all content and may remove content that violates laws or policies. Tap & Bloom is not responsible for how content is interpreted or used by recipients.

Access and Sharing Responsibility

You are responsible for providing accurate recipient details and sharing access links securely. Tap & Bloom is not responsible for incorrect delivery due to user error or access by unintended recipients.
